Below are some of the additions available to dedicated and co-location customers.
Dedicated Hardware Firewall
All servers are protected as standard by our border firewalls providing you with a layer of protection against threats from outside our network.
If you need further protection or have more complex firewall rules requirements you may wish to choose a dedicated hardware firewall.
KVM over IP
KVM (Keyboard Video and Mouse) over IP provides you with the same control you would get if you were using it 
connected directly while sat in front of it.
This can be particularly useful if you wish to view the servers boot process, change BIOS configuration and reboot your server in the event that normal RDP or SSH is unresponsive for some reason.
Dependant on the KVM option chosen it may also be possible to remotely attach media such as ISO images for software installation, as well as to view advanced hardware metrics.
Offsite Backup
Our offsite backup service uses a server based client from which you can select the files you wish to backup, and then create a backup schedule.
Backups are encrypted and securely backed up offsite according to the schedule you set. Additionally you may access your backups from anywhere and retrieve the backed up files using a local copy of the backup client software and your secure password.
External Storage
An additional USB drive attached to your server can act as a file vault and can be useful for a number of purposes. As the drive is seperate from your physical server but is available online all of the time it could be used as nearline storage or as a more rapid form of backup.
